I got Goosebumps before. Now it's Roosterbumps :)

They're both great in their own way. In the original we already know Maverick and Goose so there is room for story telling. In the new movie we just get to know Rooster so he may sing uninterrupted and have the stage/the piano for himself alone. His callsign is 100% well chosen.
