I don’t understand how the workers weren’t alerted to leave off of the bridge but they say lives were saved because they were able to stop traffic from going on the bridge.

Also in the video none of their tucks moved. And they said they where on a break setting in their trucks. Please believe if I’m setting in a truck and a ship hits the bridge I’m setting on. That truck is gonna be screaming to get me off that bridge. Also I would have jumped 🤷‍♂️ I get that it’s high but it beats being crushed

My workplace pays boilermakers $30 an hour top pay scale! They pay their illegals $40 an hour contracting through an agency to cover their backs!!! I know this for a fact because my mexican buddy got me in contracting.. im the only white contractor lol... they tried to force us to hire on at $30 and even the illegals wont work for that!!! 🤣😂😅😅😅😅

Do you realize how much it would cost YOU if that ship was held accountable for such an amount? NO shipping or insurance companies would ever operate a single day more and we would be in a massive crisis. Our taxes pay for infrastructure. Thats how it works. If you don’t like that then go move to Nigeria or Russia. Privatization of roads means for profit slacking and compromise resulting in deaths and twice the price half the life. We have far better everything in Sweden. USA is falling apart cuz of this mentality.

Dangerous working conditions?? They were taking a break in the truck after filling some potholes. Bridges rarely collapse. Nobody could have predicted this.

Most construction work is extremely dangerous compared to virtually any other occupation. Road rage, distractions like cell phones, narcissistic drivers, and so much more.

A little addendum for NBC; only Trump was invited to speak at the wake and meet with the family of the fallen officer. Hochul, Governor, Laticia James, AG, and Mayor Adams, we’re not and turned away by the family. A strong message given on how the family feels about the loss of their son, husband, and father. Let me know if NBC reported this embarrassment.
