@@MrUser999999 It uses the same platform as the last refresh model. Hence not a completely new architecture to be precise. But the earlier model had relatively "early upgrade," Santa Fe uses the latest platform from HMG.

I was sold on the Sorento - then I saw the Santa Fe a few weeks ago at the release event, and I'll order a Sante Fe as soon as pre-orders open - for my purposes the Santa Fe is hands down a better option. Thanks for the Santa Fe videos - I've enjoyed your series.

Im going with the Santa Fe! Me as a truck owner have been looking into downsizing from a 1500 to either a mid-size truck or a slightly bigger than mid-size SUV. This would be the only SUV outside of a truck that I would think about getting. Of course it boils down to pricing for me at that point which might eliminate the Santa Fe for me unfortunately

I love these 2! i keep switching back and forth. But as of right now, Sorento because I dont like it when the signal lights are on the bottom. And I prefer the size of the Sorento as well. BUT design wise, I love them both. And you need more subscribers!

Both are great designs. I would like to see the production version of the XRT Santa Fe. That being said, the Sorento has been out for a couple more years giving it a likely advantage for reliability vs a 1st year all-new vehicle.

Good job on comparisons and measurements. One question on the measurements is how far out do the rear hatches extend past the bumper when open? Santa Fe looks to be almost 3 feet beyond the bumper, can that be? Compare to the Sorento open hatch? It will make a difference on what fits in my garage. Thanks, great job, best comparison I've seen.

That is precisely it. I actually did record some of that at the end of the video, but seems like it was cut off due to the camera angle. Santa Fe's trunk is much longer and larger than any other SUV out in the current market in its segment. But the good new is that you can manually set and control how much you'd like the trunk to open to prevent it hitting everything.

Kia just nails the exterior design so well. I got a Telluride back in 2020 the day it was available in Washington. I love that car so much, the exterior design with how boxy it is was perfect. The Sorento is also great but a bit too small for me now. I'm liking a lot about the Sante Fe except the rear end, just so goofy looking. But they do have a lot of great interior design ideas that Kia needs to adapt, like the center console storage area, the dual wireless charging, the dual glove box area, etc. Despite the rear end, I think I'd go Sante Fe over the Sorento.

The design on the Kia is more coordinated rather than that deliberate frenzy for a new design. But I have to say that there are so many new creature on this brand new Santa Fe which really make it attractive.

I have the GV80 Prestige already. I was waiting for the Santa Fe but what ruled it out for me is that they didn't do an all electric version and the roof is not fully pano like the Sorento. I'll wait for the KIA EV9 and see what Genesis next all EV will be. I have not made up my mind on EV Sedan or EV SUV. Leaning towards EV SUV. Great channel. Love your content!! Could you please tell us about the spare wheel, in the Santa Fe. Is there one? Is it a full size wheel? Or is it a space saver. Here in Australia, there are distances of 1,000 kilometres or more, in places, between good tyre stockists and repair workshops.

Reading your comment, I did cover this with my last vid on Santa Fe, thanks. There is no spare tire for domestic models - it's been the way for quite some time now on all HMG cars - yet there is a space reserved for one underneath (seems that way, it could be the space for AWD system though).

Here in Australia, the current Santa Fe's have been coming with a full size spare wheel, so helpfully they will continue to do so for the Aussie spec ones. One of the big bonus points for the car here because of the distances to be covered. @@CarSceneKorea

Hi... asking about the Santa Fe space between the rear wheel wells because we need to transport 2 adult mobility scooters. They are each 22 inches wide. So I really need 44.5 inches to load them next to each other. Hope this is a clearer question. ? Width at carpet level between read wheel wells please. Thank you.

For someone who is younger ,doesn’t have a family, cares about elegant finishes , and doesn’t need too much space . Kia sorento is definitely for me ! love the boxed look of the Hyundai though

You will get what you see on Black Ink to the US as well, just not labeled as Black Ink atm. The Calligraphy models will have blacked out badges and wheels available as options. Seems like that's how Hyundai USA is going to play for the time being.

HEV in Wolf Gray. The wife is waiting to see if the 2024 HEV will come in wolf gray. Then it's a done deal. It's a popular color in my area. Don't understand why it's not in the Sorento HEV.

In terms of exterior - 2024 Kia Sorrento In terms of interior - 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Now I'm not saying that Sorrento has a bad interior and Santa Fe has a bad exterior. But when you compare both these cars with each other, you can tell which thing is comparatively better in which car 🙏

I like the looks of the Santa Fe but I'm not sure about the headlights. You have a squarish body which looks traditional, but then there's the space age like headlights. I think a more traditional headlight would work better.

What is the Santa Fe gas tank size ? And how Does the smart key work with the features ? And will we get a spare tire and dual exhaust in USA ?

Around 67L. There is remote parking assist, where you can pull the car in and out with a remote. Spare tire will most likely be there for the US models, sure do hope there would be dual exhaust tips 🤞

Uses the pre-facelift's, which Hyundai put despite it being a non facelift to keep up with Sorento, yet they failed as we know 🥲

Santa Fe sieht für mich besser aus. Nur die Rückleuchten gefallen mir nicht so, sie sind einwenig zu tief. Etwas höher sehe meiner Meinung nach besser aus, ist aber wahrscheinlich Geschmacksache. Aber alles in allem, der Santa Fe sieht toll aus. Tolles Video übrigens 👍 Gruss aus der 🇨🇭

Vielen Dank für den Kommentar und fürs Zuschauen 🇨🇭 Das Rücklicht ist nicht so niedrig, wie es scheint, es ist ungefähr so hoch wie bei anderen Limousinen und das hat hauptsächlich mit den Proportionen des Santa Fe zu tun.

Both look great! But I will go for SantaFE - I absolutely LOVE that cyberpunk design style, boxyness, practicallity. Shame that in Europe we will get just 1.6T, but atleast PHEV version.
