Son's presence alone forces defenders to defend him, meaning they go to him, even 2 -3 defenders, leaving holes in the defense elsewhere to be exploited . ..as per Van De Ven goal. I'd think Spurs would be aware of this and utlising it. Of course the moment they don't go out to guard him, he's gonna shoot and goal. It must be a nightmare for a defender.😖Doh!

The game changed for the better after Bentancur and Bogberg came on. Also, Son was involved in two of the three goals and almost scored one himself. Son has been so unlucky hitting the post in the past two matches. But I am happy with the wins. COYS!!!

I think that in order to become a truly top 1 team, multiple players must be able to score goals. I don't think a team with only one goal scoring player can be a truly strong team. In that respect, I think today's game was great.

Timo Is finally doing playing to his strengths. Going back to basics. Beating the man and getting a cross it. He s there to set things up. Take on attackers. Make runs in behind. Spurs should look into given VDV a life long Contract. Like 10 years with a no buy out cluse or a 500 million buy out. He is will be one of the best CB in the world if he stays fit.
