I know the space in a tiny home is considerably smaller than my apartment, but I've been living with a mini split for 10 months and while it's great at cooling in warm weather, it's not great at heating in cool weather. Because the air doesn't get moved around much, it stays towards the ceiling. So you might consider a small reversible ceiling fan in the main living area, just to circulate air depending on if you are heating or cooling. Just a thought.

Our homes are extremely well insulated. We have customers who are in extremely cold climates and the mini split has worked well for them.

@@tinyhouselistings I'm sure the build quality is there, just wanted to say that I can't feel heat more than 2 feet from the unit and I don't know how strong your air flow is. Air circulation could really help on something 28 feet long.

Unfortunately hot air rises, cold air drops. Only thing that might help a bit is ceiling fan to draw warm air down. Amazed a builder uses minisplit places near ceiling and tells owner it will heat tiny home....total fallacy.

@@denisephillips9269 I have a very efficient mini split and it can be up to 10 degrees colder in my bathroom 15 feet away. The air just doesn't move.
