Wish my grandpa hadn't flipped it into, and out of a ditch at about 55mph (he survived with minor injuries, but the truck was absolutely totaled. Which is a testament of the safety of the truck). That thing would be worth about as much as a brand new 4runner TRD Premium with kdss these days. Would still rather have the 85 sr5 though. LEGEND.

La primera vez que se la robaron fue en San Bernardino cerca del hotel Avila y se la robaron los escoltas de el difunto diputado del PSUV Robert Serra, fui con un amigo del CICPC y otro agente y la tenian estacionada en la esquina de la casa de Serra en la Pastora, me la lleve con la llave copia... La 2da vez si fue hampa comun en la bomba viniendo de Paracotas hacia CCS por la regional del centro y la rescate en un complejo de Mision Vivienda mas abajo de Charallave... Andar con Toyotas en Venezuela es un riesgo super alto.

It was kinda the same with VAZ(Lada) only that as you may know, after the commies went out, Russia had no money. So the restrictions imposed by the communist government were gone, but now there were no money to spend on development. Even with that, they did make new cars, further developments of the 2108 platform which was developed in conjunction with Porsche. -Priora -Samara 2 -Kalina -Granta And now since Renault-Nissan bought them, they made the Vesta and XRAY. They kept the Riva and Niva in production because they sold reasonably well. But there were changes, and not for the better. Since the mid to late 90s the Riva began to be made of cheaper steel. In the mid 2000s they received fuel injection from GM as a "reward" for making the Chevy Niva(with which they sold the "Niva" nameplate and that's why new ones are called 4x4) So don't take new crash tests seriously. There's one old one where it hits a concrete wall at 50km/h and almost doesn't deform. The new one with the blue 2107 is also a different test- a 40% overlap one, instead of a head-on. On top of that the car is new and is made of the shitty steel.
