Interesting simulation. In Italy ETR 200, able to reach a 203 km/h speed in 1939, did regular service between Naples and Milan from 1939 and 1941 but clearly at speeds less than 200 Km/h. It reached a 105 Km/h of average speed between Rome and Florence

This stuff is hilarious!! I got MSTS mainly because I wanted to do what I saw in youtube videos. I wanted to add a Chessie System locomotive (consist) but had no clue on how to do it. So I went to the MSTS train forum, and right off the bat with the questions I was asking, people were like, "you just want to crash trains! don't you?!?" And I kept my wordings and things kinda brief, but then at the end I said something that directly correlated to crashing trains, and the guy was like, "see!! I knew it!!" I guess on that forum, most people are either hardcore train enthusiasts, or former train engineers, or have at some point worked on a railroad. I basically said that it's a game, and that no one is getting hurt by it, and those people on there just couldn't take it lol. They acted like I was an evil person because I wanted to wreck trains haha. I changed some info on the one consist, and it does like 2000 mph lol. Fun times.

Similar to KTX on Cholla line before the Honam high speed line was completed . High speed train on curved single track. Drive slow enough and it works. TGV has good compatibility with old rail that;s why it was originally selected instead of ICE or Shinkansen
