Looks and sounds fantastic. I love hardcore serious Transformers movies but we are also entitled to a more lighthearted one, too. I’d also like to see a full-on serious version of the Cybertronian Wars.

Damn what could have been an interesting story seems to have been dragged down to a parody. "Badassatron" Michael Bay's tentacles will never leave this franchise will they.

This is the alternate Transformer universe. There are small differences. For instance in this version, the robots home planet is called Gayertron.

I loved the Transformers prime version Nd this has a little more humour in it that might ruin the future civil war aspect but let's c where this goes.

There are trailers that have all the good parts of a film and their are those that are the tip of the iceberg. if this is the tip of the Iceberg this may not just win new/young first time Transformers, fans, but it could win some that know of the franchise and have never watched it.

Hmmm…the kids might love this, which is good. Too many franchises try to reboot as a love letter to nostalgic fans. The results are usually lukewarm reviews by old fans who can’t understand why their kids aren’t impressed…when it was clearly not made for them. For all the complaining about Marvel, DC proved that making everything dark and depressing guarantees nothing as far as a good story or box office numbers. Still, this feels like it used the same template as a Dreamworks movie about animals on some kind of adventure, and even the good ones can get tiresome. I’ll give it a chance and hope for a pleasant surprise.
