This scene is comedy gold. Starting with physics of the cars, it looks like it was speed up like 1.25x like those goofy 60's car chase scenes, then messing with the wrong buttons, fiddeling with the pre-selector on an automatic shifter like its a manual, mismatching the Audi from scene to scene (different versions), strange gap on Audi hood, a Mercedes E-calss catching up the W12 Audi, and so on.... This has to be a joke, I would not belive its an acutal serious "action movie".

I see many people are not sure what's going on here. Only the long wheelbase Audi A8L comes with the 6.0 liter 450 horsepower W12 engine. The Mercedes E class is a pre facelift w211 which did not come with the E63's 6.2 liter V8 514 horsepower engine. The strongest it could be is the E55 equipped with a 5.4 liter V8 producing 480 horsepower. Both having more power, and 150-200 kg lighter chassis would reach 100 km/h faster than the A8L. But 5 seconds into the chase they both already were running at 140 km/h so they might have had Nitrous in the trunk

I love how two American trucks are driving in Romania and the fact that 140kmh is considered stupid fast. I drive 130-140 on country roads in Bulgaria regularly in my '07 E420 Mercedes. The 220kmh later, now that's fast for a country road. I've done it, but only a few times. Rarely do you have good enough straights and no traffic to drive over 160kmh on country roads in Eastern Europe.

The Audi should be the rival Mercedes S600, not the E320.

They re-badged a W12, if you notice, the S8 uses alloy mirror caps and has vertical chrome accents on the grille, the W12 has horizontal chrome accents and regular mirror caps

I just know the next Transporter movie, the Transporter will be driving a crossover. Makes sense. He’ll need some off-road capabilities.
