I've recently discovered your channel. To be honest, I will never do most of the things you do but you are so easy to watch. Your videos are so relaxing and your quiet positivity is so calming.

Alex and his father, Fritz, made you part of their family for a day. That is a beautiful thing, when strangers can come together and share a moment of humanity.

I'm 17, and watching this video with the intent of living like this in the future. I see people three times my age still aspiring to do the same. It's funny how our aspirations never really change, we all just want to be free in the end.

I am 67 years old granny watching your programme. My 8 yr old grandson joined me a third way through and was captivated. My 5 year old grandson joined in and when my 6 year old Grandaughter could not tear them away for a picnic in the tent rigged in the sitting room, with party packs……she lost the battle and all of them watched to the very end and found it extremely interesting, as did I. If you want to give the mushroom a chance to regrow, don’t pull them out, but rather cut them, leaving the root. You can also lightly flick the cap, to spread some spores 🙂 You got some nice ones, nicely done! 👍

Ik I’m soooo late lol.. A power bank can be charged by solar and you could use a heating blanket/mixer/toaster etc.. A bucket of water and a camping shower pump can be used as a shower. Add a shower curtain to back of van. Love your journey and all the wonderful people you’ve met. So glad I subbed x I’m bingeing.

As a single person, be wary of just meeting strangers and going off to unknown places with them, try and plan things ahead so you can organise contact and let a ‘safe person’ know where you are. Do you use a tracker?

I won't mind getting a bigger van and do this to it for my 2 daughters and I. But inside shower and toilet will have to be a must for us, because we can't go a day without showering. We won't be able to sleep because we are not used to not showering daily. But I've seen other vans built with multiple beds spaces, showers, toilet, kitchen, storage, laundry, fridge and gas burning stoves. And I can see us doing that in the near future and start recording and uploading our journey. But I like Alex's energy and way of enjoying his single life before he gets married and has children of his own. Then he might have to expand to a bus style living rather than the van. Where the bus have more space for a family 😂😂😂. Freedom is a beautiful thing once you put your mind to it.

Came across your channel - love your accent very charming. The places and people you meet is awesome. Notice that there are a whole lot of mushrooms where you travel???? I love mushrooms but couldn't believe how many mushrooms are there?? Love your van home - looks tiny but you look very tall over 6 feet but you make it comfortable. The house you stayed at on the hill - I fell in love - the wood stove combination - and the steller in the floor - in the back different sizes of wood for the pit fire which I never seen a grill that looks like a square skillet? This something you wanted to do and your doing it. New awesome places - meeting new people - staying in there homes even had your clothes wash just awesome. Be watching more of your videos.
