People talk about autotune like its only purpose is to sing on pitch and just make it all around easier to sing. Not the case. Artists like Travis don't use it so they can sing perfectly on pitch, it's more so used to create extra depth, almost as if it was another instrument in itself. The vocal sample becomes a completely new thing compared to the raw voice. To compare a raw vocal and the autotune Travis used in this fashion is ridiculous. Yes, some artists use it to make a raw vocal sound cleaner and help them hit perfect notes, but that's just not the case here. Just listen to those vocal runs. If you just like the natural voice then okay, but its definitely not a cop out to use autotune.

At 2:14 you can see that Travis misses the lyrics and Chase B lowers his background voice very quickly and just keeps the beat playing so Travis can sings the way he likes. Chase B is a goat
