YOU HIT THE JACKPOT GUYS!!! The liquor NEVER goes bad. You can use it to perform surgeries. Pour it on the wound and down the throat to disinfect and for pain. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THOSE BOTTLES!! And the bowls are also worth a fortune!! The pink glass you passed up so nonchalantly is probably depression glass. It can be very pricey if you have the right piece. You guys went all fuzzy on the tools. Those tools are Pennie’s to the liquor and the sculpture you guys have. This is totally a goldmine of a storage room!!

1st time watching, loved this video, had to subscribe. What an amazing locker. So much value there. I've seen wine go bad in long term storage, but due to the unit being cool/cold and packaged appropriately with bottles on side or upside down, I think they are still good. Don't open! Get them evaluated so you can sell at top dollar. The crystal pieces are amazing and have an increased interest in decor. Especially the amber, pink, green, etc. As well as the unique pieces, which there is plenty of. So many treasures, good luck @ your auctions!

Carl Evers, the print of the hurricane.....he was a well known painter. Yes, it's a print. But it is still valuable. Get help from an appraiser for all of this stuff.

The old trunk and the items looks like it may have belonged to one of their mothers. I received a old trunk that my aunt had and it had things of my grandparents.

Wade this is my parents storage unit they were lost at sea. Very sad episode for me

The large "modern-looking" painting is "The Capetians" (1954) by Georges Mathieu. The massive 3mx6m original hangs in the Pompidou Centre - National Museum of Modern Art in Paris. Some of the unsigned pictures shown beforehand look like travel souvenirs possibly picked up from local street artists. The wines are likely fine. We shipped a dozen cases from France in a shipping container when we moved back to Canada, then shipped it again across country a few years later and opened one of the last bottles 18 years later - still good. Reds age well. Whites are best drunk within a few years but can be fine for many years if stored in a cool dark place.

When people collect teacup, they only collect one of each cup. My mother collected teacup. I think you’ll find the saucers are the matching ones you took out at the beginning of the trunk

Please be sure to lay the alcohol on it's side or upside down so there is less separation and before u use it, it gets turned right side up and remixes.

I think the picture/painting was that of the Hale-Bopp comet. That tail would point one way in the AM and the other way in the PM. I just stood there in awe just to see it and think it won't be back for like at least 100 years.

Some of the crystal from the trunk looks to be antique crystal. Its very expensive. The woman also collected tea cups and saucers. 50 to 60 bucks a set. Id contact a gallery with all the framed art. Bet youll be pleasantly surprized!

It’s kind of sad to me that someone lost their valuable things. On the other hand, I walked away from a LOT of stuff. Good stuff. Some garbage but good things. I did it because our kids were all gone, I’m a widow and I couldn’t take care of anything anymore. But it was MY choice to do that. It wasn’t this persons choice. I would never ever put valuable things in storage.

Alcohol is good as long as it's unopened. Wine is good if keep at cool temperatures.

1:03:11 Look up how to look after the red wine bottles also if you look up the year it will tell you how much it's worth. You have a lot of money there in wine and spirits..good job . Wine and spirits go up in value, the older they are . Store them the way you found them on their sides. Rotate the red wine once a month . If you read up on it , it will give you experience on how to spot and care for wine's. Because there's big money in aged alcohol.
