When he was playing at right back he and Robertson were the most assisted of all goal for the past 3 years. With this new role he would be the guy but the only issue is will this front players convert chances? Nunez was really underwhelming but hopefully he gets better this coming season. Even salah would easily be over 30 goals if only he converted most chances created by Trent. As for gakpo can't complain too much he is slowly embracing firming role and I believe will be good next season. Trent would provide assist that he has always done but I just hope the conversion rate becomes way better this coming season. That is what cost us th top four for real. A lot of draws and losses but we always had chances to score, at times one on one and never converts so I just hope it changes this season. We blame the defense and midfield yes they need some new faces and beefing up the squad but I know we most times created clear goal scoring chances and didn't take them. So I just hope klopp and his staff are keeping an eye on this. We for sure need midfielders because of our aging midfield and probably one new center back to compete with Virgil and kanote but also a right back that can play center back too would be a great choice since Trent looks more like a midfielder this days. As for attack we need to get another proven goal scorers to compete with salah because he has one year left on his contract and we can't afford to have him leave and start scrambling for replacement. Can't make same mistake on mane, wildnadum. We just can't make same mistake and hopefully do better this transfer!

It’s disappointing we’re 5 years in to him as first choice and he’s managed to get even worse defensively but oh well. Because of that though, i’d just move him in to RCM. Building this new formation to try compensate for him… nah. Just play him RCM and sign a RB because it’s hurting Konate having to basically be a RB and it’s hurting Mo having to drop deeper and wider. Trent’s great on the ball. He’s pretty athletic. For a midfielder he’s good defensively. Just seems obvious now. Play him midfield and buy a quality RB.

If we can sign a more defensive RB and allow Trent to just play CM full-time.. we’ll be golden
