I'm categorically convinced that Sips' son is a child genius, and uses his knowledge to consistently troll his dad. Like, Sips throws the question back, _"how do you think a baby is made?"_ which gives PoopFeast420 an excellent in for the 69. Very well memed, lad.

In my mind, Sips was also extremely proud of his son's 69 joke, but understood that he had to be a responsible dad and calmly explain its utter lack of baby making potential. What a guy.

No way, I'm doing some FCC analysis for my undergrad thesis so it was a trip hearing you guys talk about the LHC and FCC. Also the dark matter thing is WIMP, weakly interacting massive particles, theres a Xenon 1T experiment at italy in gran sasso.

As an experimental researcher (in genetics) I can say I feel the exact opposite to Sips' feelings. The problem solving is everything to me.. The final conclusion sure it's great but it wouldn't mean nearly as much without all the thinking that went in to getting there.. Though I would say that many of the researchers I know are more obsessed with what results *could mean* or making guesses rather than enjoying the actual process so maybe I am the odd one out.

Man, those Texan sayings I have never heard of, and I lived here all my life! However, Texas is big, and so the variety is pretty big too. In the city it's much more mainstream, I suppose. Though there is one saying I'm surprised didn't make it: You don't want a Texan to say, "You're more useless than tits on a boar hog!"

Holy shit Sips, your kids are in school and dont know how babies are made? And school is supposed to tell them? That's.... so alien. I had a little comic book that I read with my mom when I was about 5 or 6 and it explained in child friendly and non-crass language how it worked. I cant remember a time when I didnt know how the basics work, including the "plumbing". Maybe it's a cultural thing...
