I swear I was pulling out hair when TFG made the political scene. I was in TX at the time and remember a couple articles I’d read about a slew of small businesses that suffered because TFG didn’t pay them for services on the construction of a now defunct casino. James bond being white does not effect his character what so ever it's not central to his identity as a character, or effects/determines the plot of the movie. Furthermore the first bond movie came out in the early 60s, during the civil rights movement so of course the first actor had no chance of being black in the movie. Long story short pick the best actor for the job regardless of race unless the plot/story/identity is directly tied to that characters race.
