Musk is firing unnecessary employees. Twitter was over staffed and losing money. People really are overreacting about a website that has really lasted longer than it should have. Another thing, Musk wants to make twitter more like youtube. Twitter may end up as real competition to youtube. Maybe twitter does fail, but I wonder why people feel so high and mighty about it either way. Elon Musk is still a very rich and influential man. He is the modern day Howard Hughes whether people like him or not. SNL might make a snarky joke here or there, but Musk is planning to put people on Mars. Of course SNL and the people that still enjoy SNL feel so smart thinking less employees will somehow hurt the maintenance of a website. As if there aren't millions of Americans fresh out of college ready to code.
