Really cool! I think this board is perfect for car information and tracking. Connecting to the ODB2 port for error codes and engine information, sending GPS location, etc. To go further it could remote start, lock/unlock, etc

great tutorial, but before starting I have one question, in My project I need to connect 1. 10 Small LED RGB White 5V (Planning to use PCA9685) 2. 2 DC motors 6v or 12v (Planning to use L298N) 3. 4 Stepper motor SG90 9gm ((Planning to use 2nd PCA9685) 4. Control over WIFI/Bluetooth, by Android app(which I can develop) 5. 1 Speaker with MicoSD mp3 audio in it (MAX98357A/SD car reader) Can I use ESP32 for these all or do I have to buy other chips as well ?

Thanks for this video. Have you been able to connect a micro SD card to the TTGO T-Call ESP32 SIM800L module since it uses pins 23 and 5 that belong to the SPI connection? I fell in love with the TTGO T-Call ESP32 SIM800L at first glance, but now I am disappointed to be able to by no means connect a micro SD card that is essential for any datalogger, in case the internet connection fails. I have tried to redirect the SPI connection with the SPIClass function and use the HSPI pins, but so far without success.

Sorry to ask, can i know is possible to use body temperature sensor ,heart rate sensor and spo2 sensor connect to ardiouno uno and then ardiouno connect toTTGO T-CALL. The wifi will send input data to think space and gsm module send sms to phone in case on red alarm, this is possible?

I have been just getting started with the board ttgo lilygo. When power up for the first time the led on the board were flashing as I Have uploaded blank sketch after that I'm not getting any response to any of code which is uploaded. Not even serial monitor prints any msg or led flashes. Any troubleshooting suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

Can I connect two 18650 lithium batteries in parallel to the module (TTGO T-Call ESP32 SIM800L)? Can the power manager supply enough current to charge the two batteries in parallel?

Hi There, I have a few questions regarding the applications of this Dev Board (making a gist of few other comment questions down here). 1. How are we supposed to enable its WiFi antenna? 2. Same goes for BLE; how are we supposed to enable its Bluetooth radio? 3. Is it possible to create a virtual hotspot by this Dev board when a SIM card with data pack is accessing the internet? 4. Is it also possible to connect to other ESP32 Dev boards in vicinity of the range of this hotspot(if 3 above is possible)/external WiFi Router/BLE? 5. Similarly, can it also be visible to all other smart devices around? 6. Can this Dev board work as an WiFi extender? By asking the above queries, I humbly expect to know the procedure to load the program codes through relevant Libraries and Boards from Arduino IDE. I need every possible permutation of connections by this Dev Board. Although the idea is to have unlimited access to internet by means of a SIM card, I need these facilities exploited to the fullest even when it's absent.

@@rishika_gupta22 Rishika Gupta Well, for your information. The 2G spectrum is dead for voice calls and messages, then it does create a space to use it for other iot applications. And by latest I will clarify that only Sim800L module from SimCom has arrived for very low power consumption and operates at 5volts with USB supply too. And as you said evenly then 4G isn't latest neither 5G because it might not be available for general people, research and testing has already been done through in Laboratories and departments. And if you would like to know more about latest technologies then, there is one new module with 4G LTE enabled that can communicate with Arduino and ESP for iot applications but as if you know it costs is much higher. Hence sim800l is much good for applications to be developed through arduino or ESP32. PS don't take it as an argument but gentle complement. Loving Regards, Jacob Joy.
