The way how Tucker answered the definition of a woman is straightforward and I love it. Many of these professionals who are LGBTQ+ allies would do anything to not get canceled with any excuses. « I’m not a Biologist » is the dumbest excuse to say. You don’t have to be a physician to define gravity. You don’t have to be a geographer to tell me where a country is. You don’t have to be a Historian to tell me when WW2 occurred. Outstanding? Not really. It was a stupid analogy. Being able to identify a dog is not comparable. Any fool can identify a dog from other animals. The actual equivalent comparison would comprise of being able to tell the difference between a male and a female dog (or cat) - which is not quite so easy without inspecting genitals. So no, not outstanding at all. His point does not work. There are many trans who you would not know they were trans without a closer inspection.

What's priceless is Tucker Carlson, because he knows very well that any man in America can be called or viewed as a woman. Caitlyn Jenner was born male, fathered several children and was given the WOMAN of the year award. Therefore, how can you claim that biology defines a woman when apparently it doesn't. @@mystic22g4 You can't identify with something you can't define. If there is no definition of a word, it's just a string of symbols or sounds, depending on whether it's written or spoken. Why is "glass" a word and "gsasl" isn't? Because there is nothing that gsasl points to. Glass can mean either the material or a vessel made of that material used for drinking. That's why when I use the word, you know what I mean. Now, if "woman" (same goes for "man") isn't a biological category, there is nothing to define it. All social categories are arbitrary, like long hair, wearing dresses/skirts, wearing certain types of cosmetics, etc. These vary depending on place and time, so there is nothing concrete about it, and man or woman is as much of a word as glasl is.

I don't understand why I never see people confront someone with the question of, "how can we know for sure whether or not an individual actually identifies as transgender?" "Isn't it possible that one could lie about how they identify in order to accomplish a goal such as win in an athletic competition or give themselves access to a location they wouldn't otherwise have access to such as a women's locker room?" Are we supposed to simply take everyone's word for it when they claim to identify as the opposite gender?

Dear Brigitte It does no good to state facts to these people. Like the bible says "They will call good, evil and evil, good. Their is no middle ground to be reached with these wackos. Possibly a copy of the U.S. constitution and the bible as she obviously has nothing but a passing acquaintance of where we derive the foundations of generally accepted ideas in western civilization. I believe she has nothing but contempt for our country and the very institutions from which she received her education and have been her employer most of her life. I apologize for the length of this reply. I can only offer in defence that I most assuredly know what a woman is and I'm very grateful that God made them just the way they are. God bless. The question was to "provide a definition". She was not asked "how would you describe (you understand) what this word means". So I suppose not every biologist can provide the definition word by word from a book. And her answer probably was about this.

She does have a point, most people can't define woman well, and neither can she, or Tucker for that matter. A woman is an adult human female. What Tucker and many people are looking for in response is the answer to what is a human female? She likely can't give a brilliant definition, nor can Tucker. A human female is person who has a reproductive system ordered towards the production of large gametes and nurturing of the unborn. There can be exception to the chromosomes. A fetus with a 46xx karyotype will devop into a male if the SRY gene ( the gene responsible for male bits) has translocated on to one of it's x chromosomes.

Very good point. If she was a man, she would never been nominated. We are seeing the devastating effect of the abuse of affirmative action. When I was an undergrad, my neighbor who was from an affluent Chicago family straight our told me, he planned to party and not work hard in Undergrad because he could still get into University of Chicago Med School because he was black. The question was a set up. They didn't ask what is a woman. They asked, "can you provide a definition of a woman." She could have recited the dictionary but since she is nominated for a legal position the question and the argument it was meant to incite wasn't worth answering. Maybe not the best answer but she repeated the question back then calmly explained that SJW issues are not part of her job as a judge.

@@Rn-pp9et Meant to say, my sister was pregnant with my niece a few years ago and the doctors said she was likely down syndrome and offered her an abortion to which she declined and turned out she was perfectly fine, she's a beautiful young strong independent woman now, it makes me shudder to think if my sister took their advice, most likely a uncommon testing mistake but it was a big one, also...what do you mean until my girls a teen? She's nearly two and already a nightmare lol, in a good way, she's got my temper alright, I had just left the BAF when she was born, was going to go back but I have fear now if that makes sense, the fear of getting tagged and never seeing her wee smiling face has put the fear of God in me, you know what I mean you have kids, they change you don't they, all the best to you 🤝
