Turbines are about the perfect match for most boats. Any motor that loves to be ran at 75 or 80 percent before it reaches its sweet spot is perfect. Merc Engineers are near God status to me with the new quad Cams and new outboards. Maybe these are in the future. If you could manage the heat they could make sweet outboard power also. I know it's been done but a turbine outboard that would run everything from alcohol to diesel would be cool.
