The italian men's teams have won 19 gold medals in the Cev, the turkish ones 0. The italian women's teams have won 32 medals in the Cev.

At top level turkish and italian teams are more or less the same, at low level italian team are a bit better...only to puntualize last year turkish teams don t dominate, italian teams win cev cup and challenge (2 trophies of 3 available)....

@@paolocantoni7065 Yeah but when there are 3 turkish semifinalists and only 1 italian in the champions league, you don't really need to check cev cup/challenge cup. This year the italians are dominating by far though.

Dikkat edin. İtalyan teknik diröktöler türk takimlarini çok iyi taniyor. Zaten fenerbahçe ve vakifbank teknik diröktöru italyan, tür takimlarin oyuncularinida cok iyi taniyorlar. Hatta milli takimin basinda italyan teknik diröktor var. O yüzden italyan ve türk takimlari bence ayni, rekabet mükemmel, bence heyecanli maçlari izlemek bize kaliyor. Bir türk olarak bütün savasan ve mücadele eden takimlari tebrik ederim. Bence birinci türkiye yada italya farketmez. Önemli olan maçlari izlerken mutlu olamak. Yenmekte var yenilmekte

Turkish League teams this year are so weak compared to the Italian Teams. Egonu is also clearly better than Vargas.

Interesting, this year the Italian teams (and perhaps Polish teams, in men volleyball) have achieved a kind of (and very rare, as far I know) "Grand Slam" in the female volleyball season, winning all 3 mayor European cups (Challenge, Cev and Champions League cups). Congratulations to them !

I guess I understand why a video like this is made this year. I think it’s because there hasn’t been a player’s name that is from Türkiye in the eurovolley, it has been foreign players been influential in the Turkish clubs. So this year Melissa a Turkish in a Turkish clubs and Egonu an Italian in a Italian club caused the comparison. Also the influence of Türkiye last year national team performances contributed to it.

Intanto cosa c'entra la Turchia con l'Europa non lo ancora capito. Non lo è politicamente, geograficamente e tradizionalmente. Punto due Paola Egonu è nata e cresciuta in Italia sia naturalmente che professionalmente piuttosto mi chiedo cosa c'entri la cubana Vargas con la Turchia
