You covered the basics pretty well. I can't tell you how many people that I've seen who can't keep a body from flying off their car or have absolutely butchered their front end trying to make adjustments. The gyro thing is probably the most important one though. I help people with that all the time. They come in so frustrated and ready to throw their car away, but with a simple endpoint setting, they're ready to hit the track every chance that they can get. We need more of this in the drift community. I've come across too many people lately that don't help, don't talk to anyone, and act like they got some big secret trick set up. The reality is, the more people that you can get doing this thing on a "higher" level, the more fun it is. I love helping the new people because after a few weeks or a couple of really good sessions, the look on their faces when it all clicks and comes together is awesome. And that whole time, they don't know that they're helping me become a better driver as well. There's nothing like learning what you and your car can do while chasing a herky jerky throttle chopping over rotating new person.

Well said Bob. Everyone wants a well driving car and everyone wants to drive with others that drive well. The higher level drivers don’t want a bunch of new drivers crowding their home track and making it hard for them to enjoy the hobby at a high level of driving but few stop to help the new guys with basic setup like I covered in this video. Hope this helps some of the new guys with some basic things to get their cars running better and Thanks for watching!

Idea for video as i cant find anything in regards to this. Bladers and whats best for you. Soft vs hard vs super hard, rebound effects on each one and rc behavior with each one.

Micrometer? Surely, you mean digital caliper? Otherwise, great tips for everyone.

!Video recommendation! I dont see this one much to none at all. Can you do a video on rebound preload? Pretty much. Once shocks are bled, you set the height of the shaft to your desired length for rebound preload, then resume build of shocks, this effects the shocks' behavior and can't find any videos on this. Would be great to see a video with like 3 stages of rebound preloads. Light preload, medium preload, and max preload and how each dhock behaves differently from one and another either off or on a chassis. Would be better to see each stage on a chassis and do a pop test. Thank you I have been curious as if this is a secret trick to making the perfect shock build as i can't find any videos on this, and im a hands-on / visual learner. Seen a video of a guy useing a tool for preload and when he pops the car the front will move while poping the back, same in revirse with out the car driving like the car now is alive. Please do something of this regard as i feel my shocks aren't doing what they should and this could be why. Thank you Not my video what what im refering to ukposts.info/have/v-deo/knqFfax4b6eCyqc.html Time stamp 9:15

Aren't the Redline batteries LiHV? You set it to LiPo, which probably won't be a huge issue from a safety perspective, but that charger does support LiHV.
@RollingGarageRc
@RollingGarageRc Рік тому
I run an ESC that does not handle up to 3s. LIHV full charge is 8.65v and is technically past the 2S range so I just charge on Lipo mode just to be safe. All I lose is a slight amount of battery capacity and since we’re sponsored by Gens Ace we all have multiple batteries to keep charged to use. This is just for general beginner charging technique where most guys starting out will be using regular Lipo batteries.
