The twin peaks sound track evokes an emotion that I’ve never felt before and that I can’t even describe. I feel relaxed and then suddenly the drop causes this feeling deep in my stomach, then just as I’m settled in with this new heavy feeling the swells envelope my whole body in this feeling that is somewhat like an extremely intense melancholy. When the song finishes I’m left feeling like I miss someone that I’ve never met.

This is a pure celebration of Twin Peaks. It illustrates the show’s dark, painful core of the tragic death of Laura Palmer but swells in bitter-sweetness because looking beyond the dark secrets of the town shows you the best of humanity and what it means to take joy in the small things, like a slice of cherry pie.

I prefer the original. the loud explosions in this orchestrated version are not really in the spirit of Twin Peaks. It is amazing, but it doesn't capture the dark, mysterious, melancholic tone as well as the original because it became something loud and monumental.

@@suburbanindie I liked the first half of the 3rd season more. And even though the second season was weaker it had some great episodes or even one of the best episodes of the entire series.the last few episodes of season 2 were absolutely amazing. And in my humble opinion the episode in which Laura's father kill Laura's cousin and Cooper is at the bar listening to Julie Cruise is the best moment of the entire series.
@sofiarossano5127
@sofiarossano5127 2 роки тому
@@suburbanindie 2nd season was made without David Lynch - that's why. And the studio totally buried the very idea of "who killed Laura Palmer?". They left a bunch of unrelated stupid stories. They added cruelty instead of mysticism, added a new antihero who embodied not absolute evil, but a personal enemy of Agent Cooper. And this is a completely different concept. And it turned out to be complete nonsense. Lynch made a masterpiece and a legend! He is genious. I was waiting so much for the 3rd season to see how he will resurrect his original idea, but I was afraid very much at the same time that this part would turn into counting those who were still alive from the actors, and how old they became.. But he really surprised me in a good way. He made totally another thing! Even more mystical, dark, intriguing, and the end was shocking... I guess now he HAS TO make the 4th part to explain himself ))))))))

everytime I waited for the screening of this series just to watch how gorgeous Sherlyn Finn was. I had a crush with Twin Peaks and the old fashion 80's TV set. Never forgotten how beautiful sexy this music sounds like. Thank you for bringing back the good times.

When people ask me how having depression feels... I show them this theme, it expresses so well the light and darkness of the human existence. Thank you so much for playing Twin Peaks, you did it so beautifully and elegantly, the atmosphere is incredible and so nostalgic.

@@thenub5606 they do, it's kind of a "taboo" conversation (I had depression for seven years) but once on the subject, when I showed them this song they somehow got it because music has an unique way of connecting life with emotions, music it's so beautiful.
