Tyson Fury honours Muhammad Ali by emulating his famous moves in the ring. Would love to have seen how Tyson Fury vs Muhammad Ali would have gone down. 🥊

So the greatest of all time ended up with Parkinson? I think people should start reconsidering what makes the greatest of all time list. Because if Ali was a great how is Mayweather a great. 2 totally different styles, careers and resumes. I call pop culture and media push.
@FightingDad
@FightingDad Рік тому
It's a fair point but people hold Ali to a higher regard due to his political movements, along with being a heavyweight and being able to move the way he did. After the ban of his licence he wasn't the same fighter coming up for long, his peak was short. Similar to Mike Tyson. And like Tyson and Roy Jones Jr there was a moment in time they were the "best ever" and were seemingly unbeatable. Ali talked the talk like nobody else and walked the walk beating fighters who ran through everyone. At the cost of his health as you mentioned. I suppose its what you like, and everyone can agree the last few years of Ali's career was horrible to watch. Floyd very rarely had a bad round. Never mind fight ✅️
@theoutlaw5806
@theoutlaw5806 Рік тому
What ? What a ridiculous concept for a debate... Let me put it into context for you & only for you ... Ali fought the best there was & ducked nobody. Floyd inserted so many clauses into his opponents terms & conditions it became a joke and got everybody fooled. One was & became the sport, the other manipulated the sport. "sweet science of boxing" my ass ! It's a pugilist sport where prize fighters fought for their livelihoods in a far greater risk to reward sport. Floyd in that era ? Nope Ali ? In this era ? Would fit right in. Why ? Because HE WAS THE SPORT Oh & if Floyd wants to comparing records ? Sugar Ray Robinson puts that little fraud to bed with a hot water bottle & a bedtime story.

@@Certified_DonniE Oscar dela Hoya was taller than Floyd and he never fought aggressive because his hands were brittle but in early years he fought aggressive Floyd style was abt not having brain damage which is why ali was the one with the brain damage so boxing is not all about slugging it out all the time because it’s bad for the fighters.

Anyone who boxes pro, amateur or simply spars regularly, can see that Dokes was pulling his punches to make Ali look Good clowning for the crowd. Irrespective of the opponents status as a fighter ( A, B or C- level) Fury was still in an actual LEGITIMATE competitive bout where the opponent was trying to take his head off.

@c.ostriker5572 Рік тому
Regardless Mate, Fury was fighting a professional fighter in an actual contest where real punches with the intent to incapacitate him, where being thrown. Ali was performing in an EXHIBITION in a controlled setting where the outcome was preordained as mere entertainment. His " opponent " a young Dokes who was his sparring partner, was throwing show punches that were obviously being pulled to make Ali appear as though he were unhittable. Had this been a REAL Dust up, Dokes who was much faster than Ali, especially at this point, would have undoubtedly connected because he would most certainly not ignored Alis wide open midsection. And he would have feinted Ali instead of throwing such ridiculous predictable punches advertising their delivery to Ali. Ali could not even do this" shake and bake" in his better days against Frazier,Jimmy Young or Ken Norton. It is quite foolish to think he would have been able to do this in a professional bout to a Fighter like Michael Dokes who was faster than Young, Frazier and Norton by a country mile. Dokes was entering into his physical prime having astounding reflexes and top flight speed whilst Ali was in progressive decline. In no scenario does Ali do this in a serious bout where Dokes isn't restricted to being simply a foil to Alis ACT. Dokes would have exposed Ali in a very embarrassing way.
