I'm a German Panzergrenadier, years ago I had the misfortune to act as an Atellerie observer and was about 1200 m away from the target point with my Marder ! At this distance you could still feel the impact of the grenades from the howitzer!!!My wife is Ukrainian, her family lives in Ukraine. If I could I would give you more!! Still waiting for RH155 production to kick of. It is a Pzh 200 on wheels and can fire while driving and has hunter killer capability so it can be used as a direct fire option aswell.

Wonder if if the editor chose this song over "Feuer Frei" by prurpose as some of the prominent lines of the lyrics and message pretty muchsum up the meetign between Scholz and Zelenskyj as well as the strange relation of the two countries in this situation. I say "Gern geschehen" and hope there is more to come and with the "Deutschland Tempo" (New German Speed) the LNG terminals had been established! Sorry it took so long :( but good to see the stuff sent is in good hands and of good use.

In addition to being expensive, PZH2000 has no other disadvantages. It may be a disadvantage because it is too precise, but it reflects the attitude of the Germans towards their own weapons and equipment.

Remember that it can saturate an area in one salvo all on its own by timed angle and charges for simultaneous impact. It's expensive to use and heck of expensive to field but this is wartime conditions and market considerations shouldn't figure into this overly. Best regards Raoul G. Kunz

@@RaoulKunz1 Well said, but Ukrainians have the highest evaluation of NATO 155 artillery is M777! All parameters of PZH2000 are good, but just like a Swiss watch ⌚ worn by fighters, although it is exquisite, durability may be a big problem

@@user-zt2jk8gp5o Oh no doubt - it's like so much German hardware, intended to be used in a very fast, very short high intensity mobile battle in the North German plain - I feel the Ukrainians are doing the right thing in deploying it surgically and selectively because it *is* a finnicky piece of hardware. German - read: super efficient (when regularly maintained) but extremely over engineered - heck this was right from the start, the A7V (not the latest upgrade package for the Leo 2, though ironically it has the same designator) in '17 ( *19* 17^^)set the pattern😉. Again, I feel it's a piece of hardware to employ surgically and selectively - I *don't know* how durable if will prove under field conditions because German readiness numbers are somewhat idiotic (a MBT is considered "not serviceable" when it's heating is deemed slightly less efficient in summer...) and very, *very* peace time (not the *troop consideration* - it's the ministry regulations... ) but given historical tendencies I'd say it necessitates regularly scheduled maintenance. As I said: it's build for an extremely mobile, extremely fast and extremely short war that is either decided in the initial campaign or in ends in a nuclear apocalypse. Best regards Raoul G. Kunz
