Almost the same thing here. I was at a friends house in 82 and had never watched MTV, so he put it on and this was the video that was playing. I was pretty young and had never seen or heard anything like it. I was captivated as well, and for some reason, still remember that moment to this day.

@@marksantucci4230 1989 is when I drifted into the Cure and I really loved "Bust a Move" and babyface. When Def Leppard came out with Hysteria, it sort of brought back the glory of the early eighties and kept the genre alive for a few more years.

@@marksantucci4230 Sounds about right. 1986 was Theatre of Pain by Motley. In 1987, I met a whole new group of friends and I recall listening to Push it and Atlantic Starr. The people I was hanging with were more about that Hip hop bass pounding in their vehicles. 1985 was very good in my opinion because I was a Purple Rain fanatic. I do remember 1987 was the year for White snake and Europe with "Carrie."
