They'll push Chandler v McGregor like it's a title fight even if it's just for TUF but here we're talking No1 vs No2.. P4P.... the crazy thing is I feel like Islam and Volk would both easily smoke Conor and Mike if they had to fight them but UFC has this WWE complex where we're just interested in the dude with the biggest and widest mouth.. 🙄🙄🙄 Chandler will smoke McGregor IMO when that fight happens cause as much as he'd wanna bang his best chance to win unless he lands a well timed dipping overhand right is to take McGregor down and whip his a$$ like Khabib did.. expect McGregor to have to wrestle in this fight.. doubt Chandler will strictly bang with McGregor.. he's too elusive when he's got his head on straight and shows his real ability.

They do have one it's just that some fools can't appreciate a calm, humble, yet confident personality. This might be the most interesting fight of the year, it's literally p4p number 1 vs p4p number 2. It can't get better than that really and those who are sleeping on this fight are gonna miss out big time.

What’s the risk? There’s only upside. If he loses well, that was expected because he’s going up in weight. He doesn’t even lose his belt. If he wins, immediately, he’s one of the greatest of all time.

Man Islam on the ground is beyond scary, that choke on his jui jitsu partner was quicker than Ortega's choke hold on Volk, that is dangerous if he's put in that position. I hope we fight fans get an amazing fight no matter the outcome regardless of Dumb Dana not knowing the names of his fighters or promoting this card like he should. And you might want to check weigh in vs fight day weights rather than just regurgitating what you read in a comment somewhere... Khabib was not excessively more of "weight bully" than anyone else in the top 5. Poirier and Gaethje have exceeded him for example. Also, calling them average is delusional. At the time of the fights they were killers. Same as Michael Johnson and Barbosa at the time of those fights. And if Khabib had fought Alverez instead of conor as planned (he'd already signed - conor got bumped)... You lot obsessed with title defenses would be looking at a crazy number and conor would never have risen like he did. That's why they are not so important. I don't get why everyone's saying Islam's size is such an advantage. Like, Volk is used to being bigger, his reach is actually slightly longer, and being the shorter fighter usually makes taking them down harder. Plus, if Volk can carry his speed into this matchup it will be insane-he made Holloway (who has incredible hand-speed) look silly in the last fight.

I know it’s his coach but Volk is taking zero risk here. If he wins it’s some amazing feat and he’s the double champ. If he loses he was always the “smaller guy” and the position in his division and his belt is untouched. Nobody cares about the p4p ranking so whether he’s 1 or 2 everybody will continue to know he’s one of the absolute best fighters now or ever.

You can hear it in every build up to his fights how he’s still the best hands down and that he was extremely competitive against someone at least 10 to 20 pounds heavier.

That is also why ufc fighters get paid so little, money has to get distributed further and will cause more losses and each fighter will have less value. For our amusement ufc fighters get used and thrown out after a couple years.
