Last card in Brazil was great There was no result to be unhappy with. Mainly cause there were no heels and jerks on that card. Just beautiful. One of the only times in recent memory that a big UFC event didn't leave some kind of bad taste or huge disappointment.

It’s only the flyweights. There’s no hype and fighters have no credibility as champions. No matter who fights for the belt it doesn’t change anyone’s career. Except unless… they promote a rising Australian star? Could’ve been mokaev instead but the man has 0 KO’s. It’s unfortunately the most valid match up with the most potential they have right now… I still expect them to announce a real co main event that’s not a 45 year old hall of famer and a nobody

Honestly put someone who's on win streak and would be down to fight on 3 weeks vs Pereira, I think Khalil would be down. Khalil vs Pereira would be fun I know Anakalaev deserves it but that's a tough matchup for Pereira in just 3 weeks and I lowkey feel UFC hasn't been giving Alex grapplers.

The low interest to the video kind of shows - the card is just not good. Everybody knows the Brazil crowd. They left the event and did not even wait up for Texeria to retire. To have a successful card there you need really to bring in all the elite

You are completely wrong, for starters Alex Pereira grew up in São Paulo not in Rio the Janeiro. And if we are talking MMA only José Aldo the Real King of Rio has a bigger legacy than Pereira. Poatan is the best combat athlete of all time right now, but José Aldo is one of the GOATs of his division, of MMA and of the UFC.

When he retired he was still a ranked fighter, and he has been fighting in boxing in recent years. If he feels he can fight again we should let him, I will love to see the King of Rio again win or lose. Alex Pereira is already 36, Stipe Miocic is already 41 and has lost to only 2 people that I remember in his career, Glover Texeira won his belt at 42, MVP just made his UFC debut at 37. Let's stop with this cap that old fighters can't fight anymore if everything on their health says they still can.
