The early years of UFC were way wayyy more crazy. The fights back then were not regulated on a decent level. I like it more now when the referees are more ready to stop the fight. Even Herb Dean has learned how to not be racist. He often let white fighters get more damage before stopping the fight if a black guy was winning and hurting their white opponent. He doesn't do that now... thankfully. Really absolute shitty of him to do that before though and I will not forget about it.

@@Algojo Yes. Quarantillo took a lot of damage too but he fought until the last second. Chandler realized he wasn't going win at the beginning of 2nd round and just start showboating to get the 50k bonus, which a lot of people bought as a "great fight" sadly.

Billy Q and Shane B was an amazing fight to watch! I felt the fight was super close and would have been ok with a Draw but was glad it wasnβtβ¦ Yeah speaking out both sides I know just loves the fight it was a war! Billy Q is as tough as they come, and I hope the UFC signs him to a profitable multi-fight deal and the same goes for Shane Burgos! This was an amazing card!
