Ukraine war: Meet the Georgian Legion joining the fight against Russia's invasion

The Georgian Legion have been fighting and training soldiers in Ukraine since 2014, following the annexation of Crimea, with one aim, the destruction of Vladimir Putin.
The Legion boasts some 1,000 members, drawn from Georgia in the south Caucuses, as well as a variety of other countries. We were told that there are 50 Britons currently serving in the unit.

Btw the commander of the legion took part in the first Georgian-Russian war, he fought against russia when he was only 16yo, his dad was a general. He became a POW was tortured in front of his father, later he was released and fought in Chechenya and now fights for Ukraine since 2014.

I was in Georgia one month, the most HOSPITABLE, friendly, welcoming people ever, it makes me sad to know how many of them were murdered and abused by Russia. Just like Ukrainians they didn't deserve the 2008 invasion, I feel so sorry for them, isolated on the other side of the black sea, being held hostage by the Russian government. All that stands between them being next in Russia's hit-list is Ukraine.

They should be able to form *1-Division or 10,000 if there is enough weapons and food fule support from US, UK, Cannda, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Baltic states for this specific Legion. What the Ukrainians have accomplished against all possible odds so far is just unbelievable and already legendary! This war of brutal, disgusting, plain evil yet absolutely ineffective and unsuccessful russian aggression will be remembered, studied and looked up to for centuries to come. The war is fought between 28plus western countries and Russia. If there is any gain made by Ukraine it is too little for all the European and American tax payer money thrown into Ukraine, the money that should have gone into feeding the poor, homeless, building public infrastructures etc...
