When pensioner Valentyn Didkovskiy saw a Russian column rolling past his house on February 27, he picked up a captured grenade launcher and blew up a fuel truck, sending the invasion into chaos and captured the destruction in a mobile-phone video.

He destroyed one fuel carrier, threw a few grenades as the soldiers hopped out their APCs, ran for cover, and called the nearest Ukr military post (where he knew the guys there) and they trusted him enough to call in an artillery strike.

I was picking berries with my grandfather about 55 years ago. A bear came over by us, this was in northern Wisconsin. I was 6 and scared! My grandfather picked up a big stick and started hitting the bear and chased it off!!! My grandfather was a WW1 vet. He was the kindest man I ever knew!
