Great round-up of usable accessories. You do a terrific job at presenting. I wonder about the silicone cases instead of the simple metal cage you mentioned, to protect the GoPro from minor dings. Any disadvantages/advantages? Thanks. Now it’s on to some of your other great videos.

Suzi, I want to say thank you, your videos on the Gopro and accessories have been clear, easy to listen to, and very helpful. I love my Hero 10 black, arrived first of December. Just learned from you of the dome, bought it immediately. I shoot video and take photos on the Oregon coast, winter is best, higher tides, fewer people. I always bring an aluminum painters pole, I'll clamp this to it and drag it through the water, dunk it in the surf, excited to see the results. Thanks again, you guys are an inspiration to film better, edit better, plan better, and have more fun creating content.

For mounting on a vehicle I like the Snapmount magnetic mount. It works great and the magnets are pretty strong

You're welcome! GoPro is a great vlogging camera, IMO. It works pretty well as-is, but adding an external microphone in particular takes things up a notch. Good luck!

Best way to do this is watch a bunch of videos in the style you want to make and find your own way to replicate them.

You might want to try Apertures MC led mini!! It has magnets on the back and sticks to metal. It also is super bright and incredibly small!!!! I have two!!!

Just got my 1st GoPro recently “Hero-9 Black” Apart frm wanting one, the GoPro was for general stills videos/ streaming etc.. I do Alot of dirt jumping and downhill/trails on mtb, my GoPro was going to be 💯 dedicated to that sport, it’s let me see myself in pov and tripod which showed me things I wasn’t aware of while I was riding, but it was clear to me very early on I was lying to myself and that I was going to be taking it everywhere on all occasions using when needed. lol And it’s been really awesome, So I Came across this video in the night on the day of getting my GoPro, I saw prob half the mods and extras you mentioned allowing me without diving into a shallow pool with my eyes shut, knew exactly what I needed and it was needed.. Good question! I hope so -- really want to try their walking gimbal. But it looks like so many gimbal makers stopped making gimbals for GoPro after the Hero 7 😪

I think in this video you stated you cannot charge the go pro and film at the same time. Has that changed with the Go Pro 10? I am thinking of purchasing one to use to mount on the wing of an aircraft which makes it kinda tough to change batteries as I am not planning to be a wing walker anytime soon. @@Gemini_Connect I def will post it up on my channel, we are trying to go in either December or January. There are a lot of logistics with that trip because we will bring all the material from Bangkok to Chaingmai via train and then connect with the school teacher in chaingmai before heading to the town at the base of the mountain range and we have to travel to the hill tribe village via 4x4. My wife and I did it a few years ago, it's not an easy trip, but it's a ton of fun. I was just at a Thai prison today to do some volunteer work with another one of my partners, I brought the GoPro, but they wouldn't let me film inside, unfortunately. Still a great day tho.

Hi!! Loving your videos, I am wanting to easily go between gopro on the head straps vs on the Nu Grip pole... do you think that the magnetic mount you shared would work for both?? I'm pretty new so want to just use those two options for angle variety :) This magnetic mount is much smaller and hence nicer than the Snap magnetic options I've seen around. What do you think?
