Thummidu di.... thummidu means sneeze(verb) ...thummal is sneeze (noun).. " di " is how you endearingly address a younger female. Tamil is the only one Indian language with minimum alphabets....just 18 consonants and 12 vowels. But got maximum vocabulary...of its own...not from Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian or Urdu. We are blessed to have huge wealth of literature dating back to 3000 years. We are trying our best protect the purity of the language. However looks like Hindi invaders would destroy it soon.
