Unboxing the LAB Golf DF3 putter and taking it to the course! First impressions and how does it compare to the LAB Golf Directed Force 2.1?? I have been a long time user of the LAB Golf Directed Force 2.1. I take a quick look at how the DF3 compares to the DF 2.1 in sound, feel, weight and forgiveness.

Labgolfoutlet.com is worth checking out, if there are builds in your specifications. The Outlet has good options that I have always found to be in terrific shape, at a discounted price (admittedly still expensive).

Comparing the two, does the DF3 lay flat and steady when you place it down vs. the 2.1 that I found would move a little when you placed it behind the ball. I like to align my putt with one hand and then add the other, but that would take the 2.1 out of alignment. The Mezz.1 stays in place, but I prefer the looks and feel of the DF3. Thanks!

Thanks for watching and commenting!! I believe I understand what you are asking…my take is you would find the DF3 to lay a bit more “flush” to the ground than the DF 2.1. The Mezz is a pretty solid block compared to the design of the DF 2.1/DF3, so I think you would experience that difference you are speaking of….hope that helps!

@@RodDandyGolf Yes, I prefer the way the Mezz.1 stays put when you lay it on the ground behind the ball and found the D2.1 to not lay flush. (like it has a slight rounded bottom vs. flat). Just to confirm, I think you're saying that the DF3 feels more like the Mezz.1 and lays flat/still when placed behind the ball, correct? Great review by the way!
