The very reason why she didn't switch to other big agencies (more influential than Cube) after PD 101 era. She always wanted this freedom & artistic power. She knew those big agencies won't give her the freedom to work on music. In fact, female songwriter and producer ever since debut is not just rare, it's kinda non-existing in KPop. But Soyeon was able to debut solo with her own written songs (Jelly and then Idle song) and then debut again with a group with her self-written song. Now, she's become an inspiration for new groups! Who's doing it like her ever since debut? 😎

I seriously liked I trust and I burn but I didn't purchased them because of their packaging.

Soyeon managed the marketing on her Windy album. We can conclude that the Marketing team of Cube really sucks coz Soyeon can do better than them.

tbh since soyeon mostly composed gidles discography, ig cube gave her freedom to make her own choices. But if you see when it's the companys time to do it they always mess it up. Even in the soojin situation but ig the part that they gave her freedom is nice :]

Windy is actually Soyeon's chosen English name. She explains that the "Windy" side of her is the person who lives life freely like the wind. I think it's just a coincidence that its similar with the Wendy's chain 😭

Cube could never do this! 😛 This was only possible cuz Soyeon was involved in the process & gave the packaging idea. I'm glad she did cuz "I Trust", "Dumdidumdi" and "I Burn" packaging made many not buy the albums cuz the packaging were that awful.

That's why she handled every responsibility for this comeback by picking up her own team to implement the comeback successfully without giving Cube literally anything to do. That's why we all are loving this comeback including packaging and everything. Jeon Genius Soyeon after all!

@@multistan2438 I don't know if you can recall it but (G)I-DLE's first two albums, "I Am" & "I Made", packaging were really great. Sadly, when (G)I-DLE went into their popularity era AKA the "I Trust" era, Cube started to degrade the packaging quality. I wonder if they were just greedy! They literally threw the CD in a paper box, how pathetic! 🤐 As long as their contract period exists, I'm pretty sure Cube won't dare to mistreat them since they're the company's main cash cow. Soyeon being their leader also gives me a lot of hope cuz she knows Cube's past history of treating their groups. I'm not quite sure whether (G)I-DLE will extend their contract when their contract period ends with Cube (4M disbanded and CLC is gonna disband soon), but even right now, all of them (except Shuhua cuz she still needs a bit more polishing to go solo) can go solo and make it a successful one. Also, they might want to go a new direction, say Yuqi is now really really popular in China, Miyeon is also popular in Korea & continue her acting career, Soyeon might be releasing full hiphops in the future, Soojin's charisma and sexiness can make her a ''wanted" idol again (if the mess is cleared hopefully), Minnie's unique vocal and she's grasping Thailand too. It's just my opinion tho cuz I want them to continue for many many years even if they go solo and try different things. Extremely sorry for the long reply.
