Because nothing says 'I've made it' like a TV so thin it practically disappears! Honestly, watching this feels like witnessing the evolution of TVs from the Stone Age to the Space Age. I mean, who needs a gym membership when you can just lift your TV with one hand, right? And can we talk about the 'bumper style peel', I didn't know I needed that in my life until now.

For all lovers of LG and Samsung and any brand that is not android TV I have... unpleasant news. If you want to connect an Android Tv box you will not take advantage of TV processor like video improvement and interpolation that make smooth the videos of 24 or 25 or 30 FPS. The reason is that processor do that only when source is app from LG store (like UKposts or any video host app) or from USB drive or from a TV terrestrial channel. TV processor does not do any improvement from any kind of HDMI source like TV box or computer. Of course if video has already 50 or 60 FPS or more you don't need improvement.

i bought a nanocell lg tv at first the quality was awesome but after a while some vertical lines appeared on the screen , in comparison my old 15 years old sony tv still works great like the first day and i regret why i didn't go for the Sony just because lg was a bit cheaper

@@KroryykDB it was lg nano 8100 , the picture quality for watching movies and tv shows is outstanding the only complains i have is the absolute dark room performance (really bad contrast) and those freeking lines

I have qned85 from 2023 and it’s bright, colours are similiar to OLED, but in night OLED is much better, no binding, ghosthing and dirt screen effect. So qned is going to day watching TV / OLED is night cinema movie watching.

This TV is trash compared to OLED. they just use acronyms to make it sound way better than it is. Look up the model number on RTtings. Nothing beats OLED at the moment I miss mine.

How is this qned display different from oled?? When oled turns off the pixels completely when showing black color? Can anyone explain?

This is an Edge Lit LCD, so basically you have an LCD panel with a light behind it to make it visible that dims based on the scenes. OLED display means that each individual pixel has its own light which means that it can literally shut off a pixel so it looks pitch black. This is why they are the most expensive type of TV and LCD TVs are less. This is a very basic explanation, I would encourage you to Google "local dimming vs OLED" to see better explanations and videos

No idea if it's what they used or the product name, but there are modular panels with embedded LEDs that you can buy. Being modular, you could get an installation as large as this or way smaller (setup I saw had 6). You could probably do this on hard mode too and build a custom panel yourself, if you're so inclined.

These are brighter, don't burn and are probably a little cheaper. If you have a TV in a bright lit room a mini LED TV is sometimes better.

Especially if you're going to be doing any gaming. OLED still has the best response times and if paired with low input lag from device to TV then you've got a much smoother, snappier and immersive experience.

This specific tv is on sale at places for $1099 USD. An entry level OLED that is the same in size costs $1800 on sale (LG B3 77'').

@@JPC. I don’t know if it is that noticeable when it comes to those super high-end TVs, but it definitely is in mobile phones, TVs, and any display screen. As it’s the only technology that’s actually able to give you a true black color, the others just try to dim the color as much as possible.

TV looks incredible. I still have and use my 2014 LG 55". Finally after all these years it has a tiny single black line on the right side. Other than that it still functions 🤓

Both an LG QNED and LG OLED television offer an excellent image quality. But the 2 television types differ in key points. If you prefer images with a lot of contrast with the deepest black levels, choose an LG OLED TV. If you prefer bright images with vibrant and pronounced colors, choose an LG QNED TV.
