This week on the Under The Skin podcast I spoke with comedian, author and film director Richard Ayoade. Richard Ayoade is amazing. I fell sort of gently in love with him. We spoke about fame and navigating the media, the art of comic performance and intention, the difference between greatness and mediocrity and lots and lots more!
Richard’s new book Ayoade On Top is out now!

@Q My memory of growing up watching Russell Brand movies, or Richard Ayoade's shows knows that Russell has long wavy/curly hair with no facial hair, and Richard has a nice curly fro with minimal facial hair. Now Russell has ponytailed his aging hair, with a Karl Marx beard, and Richard is going for the 'dad trying to look young look' with his now close-to-nothing fro, and no facial hair. Also, it's weird seeing Richard not wear a suit.

Richard's voice is so soothing and velvety. Such intelligence and humility. You are a truly great entertainer, both in mirth and provocation of thought. I think that Russell is an excellent role model for anyone who is struggling, or have ever struggled, with mental health issues or substance abuse. I'm loving the look of guru. Especially the magnificent and majestic beard. A beautiful person, inside and out. I would love to see a session with Rose McGowan. I think that the combination of her intellect and spiritual beliefs, would compliment Russell perfectly.
