Picture paints a thousand words. I find if someone has no English accent, i just listen to the accent, not the instructions because they are interesting and find myself guessing their origen. This pattern and instructer said it all without words. Well done❤

Crochet an EVEN number of stitches (count by two's if it is easier for you). When you reach the length that you need, crochet additional 3 more stitches (turning chain). 😊😊😊 Good Luck.

Your nonverbal instructions are clearer that those that speak English. They talk too much, skip a stitch, go too fast so you have to rewind or slow it down. And sometimes they leave out a chain which one chain can make a big difference down the line.

Search for star stitch. This is similar. You can make it the width that will go around your head and height to top of head then cinch and secure, add pom puff

Any even number and when you find the length you want by even number add one stitch then 6 more. So if you choose 80 your start would be 87. The six is to begin your first shell. The extra one is for where you turn after that row. At least that’s what I got from the video. The 1+6 always got me at first and I hated froggin my work.

So, if I'm making a blanket with this stitch, could someone tell me how to figure the number for the foundation chain?? Would the number be even or odd?? I'm not sure I understand the 2+2+2+2 and 1+6. Thank you in advance!!

I crochet some. The directions for row of chains is counted by 2’s until you reach your size then add 1+6 more. That is what I see. Beautiful work this person did.

Make your chain any number of stitches that can be divided by 2. Then add 1 chain, then add 6 chains.

I think it depens on the length you needed. If you want a longer blanket, you need to always add 2 chain.
