@scarlett87822 роки тому
I was actually wondering if it was possible that this woman had an unusual skin/sweat gland condition that causes sweat that smells like garlic, since she also had eczema cream in her purse and garlic was not common in Norway at the time. it would not have been smelled at the crime scene because of the smell of burning flesh. it could explain why she was partially burned - the garlic smell of her condition could identify her.

I actually think Jack the Ripper was a butcher. Having a rough knowledge of the anatomy but not surgical precision as medical equipment wasn’t used but a knife was also ripping of the muscles around wound sites which sit right as being a Dr and more fitting of someone like a butcher (skinning, ripping) I’ve always come to this conclusion in my years of going over this case with my team when we open up the case again and go through the evidence, crime scene pictures and witness statements.
@lonnieadams78412 роки тому
A butcher's knife wouldn't "rip" muscle. A butcher would be constantly sharpening their knife because a dull knife will cut you faster from having to fight with it, just like an "unloaded" gun kills more people.

The Isdal Woman: While I do believe that she was probably killed by another being/organization, I'd like to deposit a theory/plausible reason for setting herself on fire. The reason an individual such as herself would set herself on fire as apart of her suicide may have been because she believed she had covered her tracks/identity well up to this point. Setting herself ablaze could've been thought as a final way to still conceal her identity if she/whoever she was working for really didn't want her to be identified...even if it didn't necessarily work. Either that, or she was on the run from and trying to keep secrets from another organization/individual but wasn't provided access to more efficient means of keeping oneself silent when captured. It would also help if there was more info/description than just a strange bruise....
@alisonolley40422 роки тому
I thought this too. They weren’t able to create a face construction photo (I don’t know the proper term for it). Had they have been able to then they might have been able to identify her so it seems like it was done on purpose. If she had all of the sleeping tablets then she might have thought she wouldn’t feel the pain so it would have been a rationale thought for her
@reenwolf60662 роки тому
I think the pills were to help her feel nothing as they set her ablaze so it could be a mercy killing either by someone she trusted to keep herself from getting caught by whoever was after her she was probably was tired of keeping a secret and we might never know what the secret could be that is important to keep that all this happened to her and who was chasing hed

The story of Louis Le Prince- I think Edison killed him and kept Adolphe quiet by killing him as well. Edison's name is the biggest name of this invention and he knew that would've happened. He could've been struggling with finishing this and knowing Louis had already shown it to potential investors, he just decided to steal it. HAD Louis had any financial struggles, he was already going to get an inheritance of what he owed and more. Plus, he knew how revolutionary his inventions were so money didn't seem like an issue. Adolphe was killed during the time of the trial? Too fishy. Very likely Edison.

Jack the Ripper could have been a mortician. That could explain how they had anatomical knowledge
@ellierecine20214 роки тому
Sean Smith or an artist that studied anatomy? Like Da Vinci's work
@deangreen25674 роки тому
Ellie Recine I’ve thought about that too but tend to drift away from it when you consider the actual difference in the moment between admiring anatomical displays and viscerally cutting someone open. In my opinion, at least, Jack the Ripper had some surgical experience.
@caspianodinsson50844 роки тому
@@deangreen2567 as both an artist and a student in homicide crime scene investigation, there's a very different mindset required to actually dissect/vivisect a human versus simply studying the anatomy. an artist could theoretically locate and remove a woman's uterus, but to do it with the accuracy and smooth cuts displayed by the Ripper, some kind of extensive medical experience is pretty much necessary, like, say the kind required to be a surgeon or an undertaker. I'm not sure what kind of preparation a Victorian era corpse would go under before burial, but a modern mortician would certainly have enough anatomical knowledge to cleanly and accurately remove organs.
