Based on a remarkable true story, Unsung Hero follows David Smallbone as he moves his family from Down Under to the States, searching for a brighter future after his successful music company collapses. With nothing more than their seven children, suitcases, and their love of music, David (for KING + COUNTRY’s Joel Smallbone) and his pregnant wife Helen (Daisy Betts) set out to rebuild their lives. Helen’s faith stands against all odds and inspires her husband and children to hold onto theirs. I saw this wonderful movie yesterday, and it was amazing and inspiring. I cried a lot for some reason and already wrote down my prayers on 3'5 cards lol. When the movie ended everyone gave a loud applause. Thank you to the Smallbone Family for sharing your story and testimony with the world, may it lead many to faith in Jesus and restore families, and encourage many in their faith journey. I definitely recommend this movie and will more than likely watch it again. 😊🎉

Can't wait for this movie. We've been lacking heartfelt, family stories that teach us good and valuable life lessons from mainstream Hollywood for years now. Kingdom Story in general have made great movies, especially Ordinary Angels which I absolutely loved. Looking forward to seeing this!

I don't know how on Earth you got John Locke to be in your movie, but my desire to see it went from 100% to 150% Great work, Smallbone family! I learned about this movie from your interview on the Michael Knowles show! I loved how you pointed out that it's coming out about the same time as "Challengers", that awful horrifying gross piece of trash. We should swarm the theaters for THIS movie, and leave the seats for Challengers empty!

Watched this movie yesterday with my wife, and in the theatre there were only us and another gentlemen… I am not sure why, but more people should watch this movie. I’ve learned a few things 1 PRAYER will always be the key 2 - God will provide for your needs 3- Pride can destroy and hurt everything you have 4- Be present while the ones you love are present as well. 5 - Have a Please and Thank You List Beautiful movie, excellent acting and based on a true story. You can’t get that wrong

I saw it last night in Mystic Connecticut. Literally without bias. The best movie I've ever seen. Nonstop on the edge of your seat heart wrenching emotion. Passion purpose to the soul. If in a fair world that's not controlled by lies and corruption. If in a fair world of truth. The actors are stellar and movie should be nominated for Oscars as well as the actors. You will feel like you're amongst the members of the family while watching it. That's the quality of writing, acting and directing.

Glad you saw it. But seeing your pic, I guess you missed the part in the Bible where it spoke against 'strange marriages' meaning mixed-marriages. Why do you want to defile your bloodline and that woman's? Ezra and Nehemiah both clearly show how God decreed nationwide divorces because of interracial marriages. And yet our godless society keeps pushing hard for interracial relationships. Who should we follow?

We’ll see. I agree that most family movies are repetitive and often boring, but Joel Smallbone is a phenomenal actor in my opinion, and For King & Country’s content tends to be very intense.
