The Pitta/Flacco connection was something special. Loved watching 88 take the field and was heartbroken every time I saw/heard about an injury. One of the reasons I fell in love with the Ravens was the extensive use of the Tight End position. I'm a bigger guy myself, never fast enough to be a WR but had good hands and was strong. Seeing Sharpe, Heap, Pitta, Andrews and many others come through Baltimore and succeed, be recognizable, be appreciated was inspirational to me as a young athlete. You're the man Pitta, thank you for all your hard work and commitment to the Ravens and us fans. You gave it your all and played like a Raven.

I think of how tough he is not just with dealing with the hip injuries but in the 2012 afc championship game he got destroyed with a brutal hit by a Pats linebacker and Pitta got up and next play got a TD pass. Pitta was a true Raven and we dont get to the SB nor win it without him!
