At the end of 1921, the UPR Insurgent Army under the command of General Yuri Tyutyunnik carried out the Second Winter Campaign (also known as the November Raid). This was the last attempt of regular troops to win the independence of the Ukrainian People's Republic, to liberate it from the Bolsheviks and the military-political influence of the Kremlin. The campaign ended the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921. However, despite the tragic finale near Maly Minki and Bazar, the insurgent, intelligence, information and political struggle for Ukraine's independence never stopped. And 359 executed participants of the march entered the pantheon of national heroes, like the Heroes of Kruty.
