People might not like Tameka for whatever their reasons are, but you have to understand how she feels as a mom who lost a son to a water accident barely a year ago.

It's so ridiculous that women are called gold diggers for expecting fathers to financial support their own children. The court system is a joke.

I do like Usher, from a child til now. He is so composed and quietly articulate. Raised by a single mother, marrying a lady a bit older and that not working, having two boys and cancelling over 80 engagements to be home with them says that this young man is trying to be the best man he can be and the Judge giving him some pointers in the end is well taken. I too pray for this former married couple. We have to keep their children in mind.

This is so sad. I can't stop picturing his son laying down dead. This is not tameka's, usher's, or the aunt's fault it was a tragic accident. Y'all need to grow up.

I think Usher is a good father. But he lacks discipline in co-parenting. Though he has physical & primary custody, Tameka still has a right to know just as much as he does in regards to who is around their children, what school they're attending, health issues, him being absent from out of town etc.

The younger boy was scared and concerned for his older brother. I wouldn't have kept still either. Unfortunately, Tameka didn't have enough evidence to support her claim of Usher being an unfit parent. One thing about the law, you have to have proof. Tameka lawyers totally dropped the ball. I'm not sure where they were coming from with those questions.

I don't think its fair for the children to have to visit their own mother for only 10 days out of a month. How is it that every other mother is given rights to have custody of their children but this one does not? Somethings fishy here. Has she done anything to her own kids? it wasn't a pool accident but he did die from a jet ski accident on a lake...He was playing with a friend in an inner tube when a family friend hit them with a jet ski...i believe it's been a year as of June or July

She wants control of Usher's household when her children are there. Tameka has no rational for this hearing. The attorneys should have told her that this was a waste of time and money and that she would lose.

Yes, I agree, I think she is exploiting a near fatal - tragic accident. This idea that she needs to know his plans and whereabouts is out of place. If he updates her weekly on the children she has no problem there, and I think she is ruining her chance in future of even getting joint custody. That may be best for kids, but I think she may not be able to control herself. On CNN int. outside court, she is more into talking about this "emergency hearing" than the child that experienced emergency.

If the children are coming with meds, the doctors name is on the Rx bottle. Once you learned where the children were going to school, did you not get the school and teacher information and make sure your name is on the contact list as well. They send those things out 50 times a school year.

It sounds like this prosecution is trying to drag him through the mud! Trying to find a flaw in his stories and a crack in his armor. They are fishing for something to pin on him as a bad father. Even though she didn't win, this incident will put Usher on his toes in regards to any possible future issues.

She may have some grounds in the future to have joint custody when father is out of town, to have the kids with one or the other parent first seems more healthy for the kids, however, I am concerned about that prospect as the judge must have had a reason that he granted primary custody to Mr. Raymond. I like that the judge interrupted the attorney to strongly suggest she address the "emergency" for which she filed for an "emergency hearing". It sounds like Tameka is exploiting the accident.

Certain questions could have been rephrased in a more effective way. Some questions of hers actually helped the other party. Do not ask a question unless you know the answer. I wonder why she asked certain questions, which did not benefits her case at all, or make the hearing any more interesting for the judge. The mom would have got a better chance if she got a better legal team. I understand a mom's concern; I am a mom myself. Accidents like this would definitely break my heart....I wish parents can be more adult-like and, FOR THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE CHILDREN, put their own interests aside, to facilitate the communications and relationships between their children and the other parent. When you are not in a custody battle or anything related to custody, it is OK to do your best in decision making, which might result in a traumatized child who, in the future, will not forgive you for not being there when he or she MOST NEEDED you, and many many years of therapy afterwards. (lol. Yes, at times it does.) However, if you are in a custody battle or anything related to custody, normal decision making can be turned into an irresponsible decision and reflects a negligent parenting style. (Sign....)

Towards the end I feel he didn't want it to go down like that... I think he felt for her a bit but this is what the judge decision was. I don't know all the details of their marriage, but from what I've read I think he has done her wrong. He divorced her four months after she suffered a cardiac arrest, put into induced coma to aid her recovery. Three years later he sued/won primary physical custody of their two sons, one month after her older son Kile was critically injured, declared brain dead, taken off life support. It seems hardhearted and cold to take a mothers children so soon after loosing a child in a tragic accident.

Usher should get camera's inside every room in the house, Outside all around the house with live monitors 24 7 so that he can see and speak to his kids when he is out of town or on an airplane. All he has to do is just click on his computer and see and talk to his family. Also he should have 24 7 Armed Security, with dogs, Nurse on site 24 7. Tameka will do anything to get those kids back so she can get ushers money. She may even pay a friend to try and kidnap the boys and say he's not fit.
