The last level did look pretty suspicious. Ideally you should have shown the challenge map examples off and then booby trapped the very first challenge. No one that has ever put effort into faking a real event has ever booby trapped the very first part. As he searches for the button around the village, he won't have time to notice you've lit the TNT. Plus there would be a chance he'd be in a building when that occurs, meaning he wont have time to brick away.

2 improvements couldve been: - Dont make it the last minigame. - make it so that the escaperoom requires putting all items away first. You know, so the player doesnt cheat.

If you plan on doing this kind of trap again, a cool way of stopping people from escaping is to use obsidian as the invisible wall

Well, the trap actually fooled you, Rek. Still, congratulations on escaping anyways, and Planet, good job on actually pulling it off all according to plan except for the part where Rek survived.

"What happens when a unstoppable force meets ANOTHER unstoppable force" is basically the basis of trapping rekrap (probably best way is a simple void trap, you mine a 4x1 in a nether walkway and mine it under him with buttons going to the void

the main issue was that you dident have enough tnt, maybe a second layer underneath and surrounding the trap would have done it in, would have taken longer, but would get you results

You fumbled by telling him it was a trap instead of just silently detonating it. If you removed the tnt going off sound from the texture file you could’ve detonated it without him even noticing and he wouldn’t have had time to build up to safety

Maybe a few more layers of the invisible glass for the walls and ceiling in the trapped area as well as more TNT under the walls and ground would have worked. That said I think you've permanently list your chance to get him now he'll be way too way of you from now on.

Should have layered up the walls on the last trap up, use a more blast resistant block (maybe crying obsidian would be good, gotta remember to yeet the particles too though)

It was a great idea, but what if instead of glass being completely transparent, you used obsidian, trapping him in a boy of obsidian would have insta died, the portals might have looked sus, but you could tell him that that was so he did not break through the invisible maze. Great idea overall though.

Rek was smooth with that water clutch

idea: in a desert, make a giant floating sand trap that goes all the way to the void (remove bedrock). put crafting tables on the edges so they cant clutch. so just get them to go in that area and then make the sand fall

I think one way to make that trap a little better was to make the invisible glass into invisible obsidian. Because obby doesn’t blow up so he still can’t escape even when tnt is igniting

That is quite smart, but you could've farmed a bit longer and increased the horizontal area so that Rek has a lower chance of increasing his win-streak

Actually a genius plan. If the house looks more believable and like at the end of the supposed minigame is a lever that activates the tnt it would most probs work

Or in the game you can make a level where you have to land in the water from a high place and you can turn any solid block textures to look like water

Idea: should have used a tnt minecart to immediately ignite the explosives, letting rekrap have no time to build up and escape. Texture the minecart as a leaf, and hide it in a tree. break the leaves under it, get pearled out, and watch as rekrap slowly but painfully dies.

I was kinda hoping for the ultimate betrayal of the person you entrusted to teleport you out trapping you with the stasis chamber

here a suggestion, you should’ve put more expand more tnt horizontally but not more in vertically, therefore rekrap will deal more knockback/damage.

The final level was a bit to obvious, but it was a pretty good trap

should have made the TnT trigger off of the item popping out of the frame, gives them almost no time to react opposed to needing to light it manually. also should have used multiple layers of a more blast resistant block so that the TnT has less of a chance of blowing a hole to pearl out of.

Mass TnT explosions don't really do the most amount of damage, especially if the person is armored. The blast usually knocks the person away from the main damage. And if they are good enough, fall damage can be mitigated.

On one hand, this was brilliantly executed. On the other hand, now people are going to have a hard time getting him to do anything with them unless he gives up on constantly being so sus of everything. Yeah it presents a nice challenge, but I almost feel sorry for him LOL. I mean, this was pretty dirty ;-)

i always use a texturepack that only has the tnt assets in it. its always at the top no matter if theres a texture pack needed for something (except for singleplayer maps and stuff). that way i can see it easily lol

I think you should have used obsidian as the invisible block instead of glass, when the tnts blew up they destroyed the walls and allowed him to escape. He wouldn't find that suspicious because of the invisible maze, he would just think it's to make sure he doesn't accidentaly break the maze walls.
