The reason why people don’t use Windows XP and Vista anymore not just cuz of security updates, but because programs are out of support which is a MUCH MORE security risk than Windows Updates.

@@player31810 Your computer might be compatible with Windows 7 if your hardware isn’t super new and you can actually dual boot it alongside your windows 10 if you really want. I did the same on one of my computers

@@the_ejumper_0804 I got the laptop for 250 on a discount back in 2014. I knew that it couldn't find it much cheaper. And now this laptop used sells for 180 to 200, and this laptop's original price was 300 I think.

Maybe upgrade to ssd and ram or cpu

It claims to reduce energy so it doesn't surge the electric bill through the roof I hate to see the electric bill on modern computers with a high wattage power supply you really don't need a beefy power supply if it blows up the jokes on them don't overload a power supply or say goodbye to your $4,000 computer build. If I had it my way and kept my Acer I would still be using Windows 7 or Vista if you use Vista there's an extended kernel made by a third party user just be careful about it though someone will eventually make a third party kernal hopefully for Windows 7.

Also we still use screen savors if you type in the search bar on Windows 10/11 you don't reslly hsve to use them if you don't want to.

Our computer back in 2010-2015 actually had screensaver set. As a young little kid I always thought it seemed entertaining to watch.

This laptop was my moms old laptop that stopped working but I repaired it so she let me keep it then i just installed windows 7 on it

It is, support ended in 2020. You can still use it, you just won’t receive any updates which puts you at a slightly higher risk of getting viruses from the Internet.
