Australia’s fighting emperor and former unified world champion, George Kambosos Jr., is on a mission for a new belt. Standing in his way is a Ukrainian fight legend, Vasiliy Lomachenko, a three-division world champion intent on writing another triumphant chapter in his Hall of Fame career.
Lomachenko and Kambosos will clash for the vacant IBF lightweight world title as part of a world title tripleheader on Sunday, May 12, at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Two additional world title fights will be announced in the coming weeks.
Promoted by DiBella Entertainment, Top Rank, Ferocious Promotions, TEG Sport and Duco Events, Lomachenko-Kambosos and the two additional world title fights will be broadcast in prime time in the United States on Saturday, May 11 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+.

@@magacop5180 Who the welterweights & Haney the middleweight who cut weight then rehydrate to a ridiculous amount of weight to have a clear advantage over him. Because if they were true elites like Loma who moved up to fight guys bigger then himself & guys that have a 5-6 inch reach advantage on him they wouldn’t be scared to go to were they really belong it’s just that they are cowards to scared to “REALLY” test themselves. But we see Loma do it over & over get in with guys fight after fight they have every physical advantage on him. His skills ring IQ his accuracy etc is what set him apart from the rest . If it was Loma that had a 5-6 inch reach advantage over them no fucken way in the world they would fight him. Loma was so much better at super feather, he slowed down a lot when he got to lightweight. to think he dominated the division truly being the smaller guy against everyone goes to show his skill set, truly one of the best boxers we've seen in this generation. Fastest world champion, fastest 2 division champion, and fastest 3 division champion

Prime loma washes Haney Teo Shakur and Tank and in a Tank fan. This man was special His IQ and mind games was crazy. In that highlight where he faked going to the body @1:27 and waiting just the right amount of time before hitting dude with a razor sharpe 3 piece is crazy. That’s all mind games. Dude tricks you into the position he wants you to be in so he can get his shots off. All that mental pressure is crazy Even at his last fight he had Haney saying “he knows everything I m doing” To his own fault, taking that 12th round off because he thought he won was a HUGE mistake. I believe that cost him the fight. In a close fight the champ usually wins BTW Pedraza showed some great footwork and head movement. 👏🏽 bro has a crazy chin. 97/100 boxers get stopped in that 11th round. Ref should have stopped it though. He wasn’t throwing back much
