If its a taxi, police and company car, it means its cheap and reliable. Absolute cars some of which do millions of miles, but never get the same recognition as Volvo or Mercedes, cuz they're "just poor people's cars," and people take their existence as a given. Probably the same reason this one was abandoned.

Rear window defroster works. Wow. :) Well. One of the things I hate is the Astra G's radio display. So, those pixels of lcd move very slowly when the weather is cold. :D

G Astra was, and still a good car. Manufactured from 98 to 2009!!! - was produced simultaneously with Astra H (G Astra Classic II from 2004 - basically the same chassis with Twinport engines). I've owned one, then gave to my parents. Bit later they changed it to a newer twinport (Classic II) version. Comfortable, and reliable cars, not provide too much driving experience, but heeey, buy a Astra G OPC. That is a different story!

And to go work an Seat Ibiza 1.9 GT Tdi 110hp with AFN Engine year 1998. Love old cars mate,i hope take care this great cars,give some love they deserve it. It turned on so fast that they say bad about Opels but I think it's a good car ! The only defect of the Opel is that the bodywork rusts
