Thank you for the video. Is there a way to program the wireless unit to stay on the whole time you are riding? Mine only seems to come on when I stop a ride or if I go in and manually find it and connect. It should be on the whole time correct?

My Garmin shows 60% of battery level, however I am sure the battery is full. Like in this video, which is excellent by the way. It helped me mount my sensor etc, but ihave no idea about solving the problem

Thanks for the helpful video. FYI I have the Ultegra Di2 8150, with that one you won't need to install an extra Di2 shimano wireless unit. It's already integrated.

Another option for the wireless unit is the Shimano Di2 XT SC-MT800 display. It displays the gear selection and battery level and provides ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity. Also replaces the Di2 junction box and provides for a nice charging port.

Hello. Thanks it was very interesting. I have an additional question. Do you know if we can get DI2 information (Gear position) in Garmin file? Explode DI2 data in Garmin GPS ?

I’ve seen a number of reports where people have temporarily bricked their DI2 system for a while when installing the EW unit - I think the issue happens when updating the firmware. Can you just plug it in and connect it to the Garmin without having to use the Shimano iOS app.

Great video. However, on my 530 it only shows 11 gears for Di2. How do I get to 12 gears? Thank you.

Shimano Di2 12 speed rear derailure has BR/ANT built it but the 11 speed does not so it requires the EW-WU111 ... correct?

I have watched tis several times. Its very good but in my opinion you go way too quickly. The transition between setting up the DI2 buttons and selecting which items to display in the screen is very confusing.
