We've had some great central defenders since (Mexes & Burdisso, Benatia & Castan), but I agree: this defense line is far too weak for the top in Serie A

@@Batfighter1 Yup We've had some, beside them like Chivu , Juan, etc. But this is just simply my opinion, they were great individually but the whole defense line never been great again since the Scudetto(both main/bench player were solid) era. No disrespect to all the players though. Just hoping for better play in the future.

Ridiculous penalty decision - was VAR even looked at? The amount of soft pens in Serie A this season is a complete joke. There was more contact on Pellegrini last week against Milan when Kjaer fouled him in the last minute - which wasn’t even looked at. No consistency whatsoever

Mourinho has to realize that Abraham is not Drogba, and that Pellegrini is not Lampard. Plus this outdated formation of 4-3-2-1 is a catastrophe. He puts Mkhtaryan, Zaniolo on the bench for what? Total catastrophe.

Yah, Mkhitaryan was the top scorer least season and top assist maker, he helped Roma to play in conference league and he is a player with a lot of experience and quality. Zaniolo is a fantastic player who is very quickly and also with a lot of quality.

Thinking Zaniolo and Miki needs to play every game is a joke. Miki is getting tansitioned out, and Zanilo's perfomance is a joke right now.

Mou has a tough choice, keep playing Mancini Ibanez or give Kumbulla a chance and risk losing. It's not like Roma has a solid defensive line now where they can take it easy.
