Verne did an interview during Masters week that the original tech direction called for a wide shot of the shot. Cameraman went with his gut, zoomed in, and the rest is history.

So many people act like that is unique. Everyone who hits it back there plays it like that. A few years before, Davies Love III made that very same shot. YER SIR with Jack and the exact timing of Jacke raising his arms... unbelievable timing.
@ConnorMiller41722 дні тому
@@jonlanier_ Davis was a bit further up than where Tiger was. Also, Tiger’s ball was right up against the edge of the thick rough which made the chip even more difficult. The fact he made it is legendary. No other golfer could’ve made that shot. No one!

just imagining what would’ve been had he called the pros like NFL, NBA or MLB. he could’ve been great calling games for guys like either MLB: rangers, astros, braves, rays or Marlons, for NFL: cowboys, texans, saints, falcons, jaguars, NBA: mavericks, rockets, hawks, heat, or the magic. that’s on his turf, but to see him call other games on the other side would have been crazy.
