@@thecompanioncube4211 Verstappen is a more amplified version of Danny Ric. Danny is being himself and also brakes late when attacking. Verstappen does both of these things even more than Ricciardo. That duo was awesome.

@@FonikosGazmas without a doubt Max and Danny was the best teammate duo that we have witnessed in years. Good battles on track and good friendship off track. I still admire Max saying no to whole DTS coz it was coming in between him and Danny's relationship. You're correct saying both of them were hyper aggressive overtakers, but normal driving styles of Max and Danny are polar opposite. Danny drives smooth like Jenson Button, whereas Max take corners in V shape like Schumacher. Danny saw that car development was going more and more farther than his comfort resulting in him quitting. Many drivers admit that they can't handle the level of peaky front end that Max operates at, but the reality is that driving style is faster, especially in current gen ground effect cars. Every well performing car last and this year was peaky at the front end, and No one currently can handle that as good as Max

This was the first time I consciously felt the car carrying an 'unusual amount of energy' all the time, like it was just on the edge of a little bit more energy input and it would crash, just by watching the live-feed of the normal camera angle shots of the car. I didn't even notice how close it was sometimes until I watched the onboard, it just looked visibily more energetic than basically most of the other times you see cars go around the tracks. That's beautiful shit

@@christiansimmons630 Oh just shut up already, This lap was one of the best laps in the history of the motorsport up until he crashed, we are not saying it was a good lap because he crashed, we are saying it was incredible lap because of how quick he went in the first and second sector, just because he pushed the limits very very slightly too far at the end, doesnt mean the other 95% of the lap wasn't good. So just shut up, i have seen you commenting on every other comment so far, and everytime you are just shaming people for saying that 95% of this lap was the best lap in history, which it pretty much is. Yes,🦾 although sectors 1 and 2 were absolutely weak. Reminds me even more of Lewis in Hungary in 2023. Strong lap until the last corner with the mistake, but then still got pole.

RB was slower this weekend, pretty much like every post Silverstone race. But this track really suited the Merc low rake concept. It's not the fact it was a perfect lap in terms of technique. It was a do or die lap, you can see that especially in sector 1, he is literally on the edge of the rear snapping out and putting him in the barrier.

Look at the way he turns in. That's a turn and pray turn. That was pretty much on the limit.

RB overspent on catering, and that has a massive effect on car performance of course....
